Soggy Saturdays in Mid June .....

Brrrr - just in from the garden, have swapped my soggy jumper for a dry one. Colin & Jamie are sweltering in the Las Vegas heat and I think I'm a bit jealous as it's cool here. The windows are mostly all open as our valiant painter Jimmy has been battling with the weather doing his least favourite task - painting windows!

In the meantime I've finally had a go with my new 'Mantis' Tiller & here's the first result;

Even managed to straw up before Mr. Monty Don 

on the BBC's 'Gardener's World' did so! But I have to confess it was he who reminded me that I really needed to net the berries if we are ever going to taste any this summer 

- already a hedgerow thief has been at work on them!

Mitsy is feeling a whole lot better as you can see - she's playing musical beds with Fritz & Teddy!
