Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations...

 4th June 2012
A few of us (ladies of a certain age) in our hamlet got together to arrange a party for the Jubilee.
We had great fun doing this - bunting, a Queen scarecrow, a treasure hunt & our own flotilla - which was actually a boat race along our Cairn Beck.

Well I can't believe it's July already .....

Where does time go? I really meant to make some notes before now - hey ho!
Well we all know that the UK rain stats in the Met Office for 2012 have been broken.
Our Badminton trip didn't take place - little did we know it was just the start of the torrential rains, but the competition will run next year instead. However Colin & I had a great week away enjoying the delights of beautiful Bath & les environs.

Our holiday cottage on Box Hill was an excellent spot
